Photo Friday

It is going to be a challenge for me to not always choose photos of Caden for Photo Friday.  Not only is he my favorite subject, but lately most of my favorite shots seem to be of him.

I chose this photo for Photo Friday because I believe in order to better yourself in photography you need to try things that you have not tried before.  This shot was taken around last Christmas and it was the first time I attempted "painting with light." Before teaching photography, I mainly focused on portrait photography.  Though I want to continue bettering myself in portrait photography, I want to challenge myself to try new things.  Again, critiques are welcomed and encouraged.
